How I work with this

Working with trauma is a slow and careful process. I work within a psychoanalytic framework, creating a safe space where traumatic experience can be gradually understood, integrated, and no longer carried as a heavy burden. The work is typically long-term.

Do you recognise yourself?

  • complex childhood trauma (CPTSD)
  • consequences of childhood abuse or neglect
  • flashbacks and intrusive memories
  • dissociation
  • processed grief

If you recognised 3+ points — it is a good reason to talk to a psychologist.

Approach & Methodology

A Past That Lives in the Present

Childhood trauma, experienced abuse or neglect, complex grief — all of this leaves a mark on the psyche that affects life in the present. Complex trauma (CPTSD) is a serious condition requiring long-term and deep psychoanalytic work.

  • Flashbacks and intrusive memories
  • Chronic feelings of shame and guilt
  • Difficulties with trust and intimacy
  • Dissociation and feelings of unreality

Questions & Answers

Is it dangerous to dig up traumatic memories? +

Trauma work does not involve a chaotic plunge into painful memories. We first build stability and resources, and only then gradually approach the difficult material — at a pace that the psyche can withstand.

How do I know if I have cPTSD or just anxiety? +

cPTSD is distinguished by its chronic nature, a sense of deep shame, relationship difficulties, and alienation from oneself. Accurate assessment requires a consultation. During our first session, we will look into your specific situation.

Is it possible to completely get rid of the consequences of complex PTSD (CPTSD)? +

Is it possible to completely get rid of the consequences of complex PTSD (CPTSD)? What you have experienced cannot be erased or made to seem as if it never happened. However, you can radically change how it affects you. The goal of therapy is to make the past just a history, rather than a trigger that takes control of your life. You will learn to recognize sudden immersions into traumatic experiences (emotional flashbacks), soothe yourself, and build safe connections without breaking down from fear.
